We've Created an Environment That You Will Enjoy!  As you stroll the clean and shaded sidewalks, enjoy the trees and the plants along the sidewalk.  Take a glance at Ventura Boulevard and notice the center medians boasting beautiful trees, plants and flowers.  Cross the street at one of our decorative pedestrian crosswalks! Studio City is truly the jewel of the San Fernando Valley.

Studio City is known for its picturesque view of the 50+ foot palm trees that line Ventura Boulevard.  The SCIA trims the  palm trees twice per year to maintain their beauty and the charm of Studio City.  The SCIA also planted 60 Chinese Pistache trees in the district.  Enjoy the day lilies that surround the medians and the trees.

Studio City Walk of Fame
Studio City got its name from the motion picture and television studio that’s been here since the 1920’s.  As a matter of fact, the studio is celebrated its 75 anniversary in 2003!  In order to commemorate the history of Studio City, the SCIA created the "Studio City Walk of Fame."  Three hundred granite stones have been placed into the sidewalk with the names of films and television shows that were made in exclusively in Studio City over the last 75 years.  Take a stroll through the heart of Studio City and relive the memories of your favorite films and television shows!  Please email lorena@studiocitybid.com to request a complete list of titles. Ventura Boulevard Medians
We're creating a beautiful environment! Center medians create an inviting image for communities. The Studio City Improvement Association  has constructed two attractive center medians located in the core of the shopping district.  The District is located on Ventura Boulevard between Whitsett Avenue and Carpenter Avenue.  

MAINTENANCE SERVICES
Ever notice why it's great to walk down the street? We strive to provide you with a clean and beautiful environment. The SCIA has an extensive maintenance program in the District.  Maintenance services include tree trimming, sweeping of sidewalks seven days per week, sidewalk pressure washing, and trash disposal.  The SCIA has an extensive maintenance program in the District.               

MARKETING
Business Directory - Please visit our online directory to see the most comprehensive directory for the businesses in the district.  Each business is more than just a name and address.  That’s why we’ve dedicated an entire page so you can see how the businesses are special and unique!

Schools Marketing Program - In order to encourage local residents to “shop locally” in the Business Improvement District (BID), the SCIA has developed a “Schools Marketing Program.”  Students from Carpenter Avenue Elementary School and Walter Reed Middle School turn in receipts from shops in the BID to the SCIA and receive 10% back for the schools.                

Monthly Advertisements - We're staying in touch with you!  The SCIA places monthly advertisements in Studio City Lifestyle Magazine, a local monthly publication for the benefit of the entire District.

Holiday Decorations - We get festive during the holidays to brighten up your shopping experience. During the holiday season, you'll know you're in the Studio City Business Improvement District when you see our banners.
